The mainland of Wolfs Night territory.The forest is vastly dense and dark.Very little light shines through the tree tops.Only the brave and courageous venture there.Any wolf who strays there could either find himself lost forever in the night or he may be encountered by the wolves who live there.Stranger aren't taken too lightly on first meet.The pack is made around this land.It's tough but the wolves know the land well.

Kamaji whipped his head to see Shade there at his side.He glanced at the small prey but shook his head in utter astonishment.Too weak to get up all he could do was bare fangs at her."You shouldn't be here now.Go back to the den where it's safe."Kamaji glanced at Minori to make sure hadn't moved before struggling to his own feet.

Shade looked at Him, confused and a bit scared." I... I'm sorry!" she stuttered, then fled away, her tail streaming behind her. When she finally slowed, she sat down and caught her breath, not understanding why Kamaji was so angry.

Kamaji hobbled after her limping and wincing at the same time with the given prey in his mouth.Minori wasn't going anywhere very soon anyways."Shade!"Kamaji had his tone soften and when he spotted her he collapsed to the ground panting.He set the rodent down in front of him and spoke through pants."I'm glad to see you and thank you for the food but now i am dealing with someone I can't allow you to be around.Please understand that I am trying to protect you.

Shade looked up at Kamaji, her face ashen." Im so sorry Kamaji." she whispered." I was so selfish, not even noticing the other wolf." She glanced down at the thrush." You probaly dont even like thrushes." she said, discouraged. She stood and stretched half heartedly." I guess I'll be going now." she mumbled. She walked away, her tail drooping, into the bushes.

"Shade"Kamaji called.He wanted to be with her for a while knowing no harm would come to them for now.He started to tear in the flesh of the thrush but leaving a small portion for his going to be mate.

Shade stopped as she heared Kamaji call out her name. now she was really confused. Did he want her to leave or stay? Deciding to return, she turned and padded back through the bush. Noticing Kamaji eating the thrush, she burst into a smile, unable to help herself. " At least I did something right!" she exclaimed.

[Kamaji]

Kamaji chuckled.He ate his share before looking up at her and nodding.You may have the rest.Promise that on the first sign of danger you will flee to the den."

Shade shook her head." You go ahead and eat the rest. Ive already eaten." She looked at him teasingly." You know I can defend myself. I was a loner for almost my whole life. But if you want I guess I can flee at the sight of danger." She chukled, her eyes sparkling." Or maybe I'll stay and get my fair share of the fight."

[Kamaji]

Kamaji finished the meal and yawned before looking up at shade seriously."A loner named Minori has intruded into the territory and I am trying to get him out.Even if it means I have to kill him."A small rumble came up Kamaji's throat and he set his head upon his paws with a sigh.

Shade sighed." I would really hate it if you killed him." She looked at Kamaji seriously." I have seen my fair share of killing and believe me, I don't like it at all." She tucked her tail around her legs." But I will stay out of your way, just in case you decide to kill him."

[Kamaji]

Kamaji tilted his head and his face softened."I will be careful Shade.I will try once more to drive him out but if i should need to do the alternative i will have no other choice.

Shade sighed. " I guess your right." Than an idea hit her. " What if he joins the pack instead? It would be a better alternative." She swished her tail and tilted her face to the sky as a light rain began to drizzle." Any how," she said, " whatever you decide to do I will respect it, even though I might not like it."

Kamaji sighed."He isn't joining this pack."He is too ignorant and poses himself as an alpha which i will not allow."

Shade sighed again. It seemed she had been doing a lot of sighing lately." I guess your right." she said." But that's unfortunate." She stood and tipped her head at Kamaji. " Can you show me this Minori? I promise I will run away if it becomes dangerous." She said in a pleading tone.

[Kamaji]

kamaji felt himself wince."Shade that isn't a good idea."He said slowly.He would kill Minori if he ever harmed shade even the slightest.

Shade looked at him sadly. " Why not?", she whined." I really want to see the damage you did to him." She persuaded, not dropping the topic.

[Kamaji]

Kamaji rose weakly to his feet and turned painfully towards the direction they had come."Very well but not too close."He began to limp toward the clearing where he left the old mutt.When he paused at the side of the clearing kamaji fell onto his good side that wasn't badly wounded and felt exhausted."Over there."He panted pointing his muzzle in Minori's direction.

Shade padded quietly over to the brute. Stopping only a tail length away, she turned back to Kamaji." This far enough away?" she asked.

[Kamaji]

Kamaji studied the distance with slitted eyes but nodded."Just be careful."He called.

"M'kay" She said absent mindedly. Slowly she stuck out her paw and prodded the body. Than she quickly withdrew her paw and waited for a reaction.

[Kamaji]

Kamaji tensed his muscles over the pain and a rumbling growl came low in his throat.'If you touch her you die' He thought coldly to himself.

Disappointed she hadn't gotten a reaction, Shade padded back over to Kamaji and lay down beside him." See? There was nothing to worry about."

[Kamaji]

"He is wounded from the fight the same as me."We will fight when our strength returns to us."Kamaji mumbled.

"I guess you must fight." she said unhappily. She stretched out on her side." But for now you rest." She fell asleep, the light rain starting to soak her pelt.

Kamaji licked shades head before resting his head on his paws with a sigh and let his eyelids close shut for a much needed sleep.
